When we set out for the iconic Honey Brake Lodge in Louisiana, we knew we were in for something special, but what we experienced over the next three days was far beyond our expectations. This trip wasn’t just about outdoor adventure—it was about creating unforgettable memories and breaking down barriers. Our time at Honey Brake was a celebration of inclusivity, connection, and the shared joy of being outside. One of the most extraordinary parts of this adventure was watching a group of incredible individuals—some with special needs—take part in activities that many might have thought were beyond their reach. They were hunting hogs at night using thermal scopes, fishing the river for crappie, and taking part in thrilling rounds of sporting clays. The experience was eye-opening and heartwarming for everyone involved.
